The client’s vision is to produce a boutique development that offers large apartments and balconies for private living in conjunction with a communal sky terrace for large gatherings. Servicing areas and common circulation are located at the core of the building to maximise ventilation, natural light and views from these private and communal spaces. Curved balcony forms, batten screening and timber-look cladding are utilised to invoke the Brisbane River and vernacular of the surrounding built environment.
