This concept design was prepared as part of a tender proposal for our client to purchase a large site from Fraser Coast Regional Council. The site fringes the Hervey Bay CBD whilst also elevated above the esplanade to capture views of the ocean. The proposal consists of a 152 room hotel with resort pool, restaurants, conference facility and a separate 150 apartment building for over 50’s. Plans also involve a large public forecourt incorporating a new pedestrian bridge over The Esplanade for traffic free access to the foreshore.
